Starting May Day 2026 and running through June 15, players will compete in a virtual CoD: Warzone event, climb peer-reviewed leaderboards, and earn their place.

We will also hold a 24-hour Twitch livestream event on Memorial Day to commemorate the month, honor the fallen and Gold Star families, celebrate the gaming community coming together for a greater cause, and raise critical funds to support the mission of Gold Star Gamers.

COMPETITION
OVERVIEW

Compete in Call of Duty: Warzone by securing a Battle Royale run with the highest number of shotgun kills. Only Assault Rifle (AR) kills count toward your score. Climb the leaderboard by pushing your performance as far as possible before the deadline. Final rankings determine who comes out on top.

Submissions close on JUNE 15, 2026 at 4:59 PM PST. In the event of a tie for first place, the winner will be determined by the fastest completion time.

RULES

Eligible platforms include Sony Interactive Entertainment PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Microsoft Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, and PC using the console version of the game. Warzone Mobile is not eligible for competition.

All gameplay must be completed on original hardware. Emulators and any form of emulated play are strictly prohibited.

All matches must be played on official Activision public servers.

Participants may use any Assault Rifle (AR) currently available in-game. Shotguns, sniper rifles, and all other weapon classes are prohibited.

Runs must be completed in a public matchmaking lobby. Players may enter squad-based modes, but all teammates must be assigned exclusively through the game’s built-in matchmaking system. Pre-made squads, coordinated parties, private lobbies, stream sniping, and outside assistance of any kind are not permitted.

Each submission must clearly capture a complete solo Battle Royale run.

Only kills earned with Assault Rifles (ARs) will count toward the final score.

All submissions remain subject to the Twin Galaxies General Gameplay Global Rules And Guidelines for All Submissions. In any instance where those guidelines conflict with the rules outlined above, the event-specific rules listed here take precedence.

SUBMISSION PROCESS

General participant registration is FREE for all participants.

To officially compete, participants submit their video entries by accessing the event leaderboard section below and selecting the “Submit Claim” option at the bottom, or by clicking HERE. A valid Twin Galaxies account is required in order to upload gameplay footage and complete the submission process. All gameplay videos must be uploaded directly through the Twin Galaxies submission system. Links to externally hosted videos, including but not limited to YouTube, Twitch, Google Drive, or other third-party platforms, will not be accepted.

By submitting a video, participants affirm that they meet all eligibility requirements for this event. False statements or failure to meet eligibility requirements may result in disqualification from the event.

Players may submit improved performances to the leaderboard if they have enough Submission Points, even if they have already submitted a prior performance.

Each submission requires three Submission Points. Every new User gets one free submission.

Submission Points are earned by participating in the Twin Galaxies voting process. Players must vote on other submissions in the Voting Area to earn Submission Points. The Voting Area can be accessed HERE.

Submissions received before June 15, 2026 at 4:59 PM PST will remain eligible even if the verification process is still ongoing, provided they were submitted before the deadline.

VIDEO REQUIREMENTS

The entire match must be recorded from start to finish.

The video must be clear, unobstructed, and of sufficient quality to verify gameplay and accurately count each AR kill.

The footage must be stable and easy to follow throughout the entire match.

Every AR kill must be clearly visible and verifiable within the video.

Edited, clipped, or partial recordings will not be accepted.

ELIGIBILITY & ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This competition is open only to legal residents of the United States and Canada.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of submission. The competition is void where prohibited by law.

Winners are responsible for any applicable federal, state, provincial, or local taxes, duties, or reporting requirements associated with prize acceptance.

All submissions are subject to verification for eligibility, authenticity, and compliance with all rules. Any attempt to cheat, manipulate gameplay, falsify evidence, or gain an unfair advantage will result in immediate disqualification.

The organizers reserve the right to modify event details, rules, or prize distribution if necessary.
