MEET THE STREAM TEAM

The creators behind the streams. The heart behind the mission.

Our Stream Team brings together creators who turn their love of gaming into support for surviving children. Through charity streams, fundraising, and community events, they help us reach more people and keep our mission moving. Get to know the people behind the screens.

MADDMAX

Robert “Maddmax” Maxwell is a Marine Corps veteran, lifelong gamer, and passionate advocate for using gaming to build connections and make a difference. As Creator Impact Manager and a member of the Gold Star Gamers Stream Team, Max is dedicated to bringing creators, gamers, and communities together to support children of fallen military service members.

Through gaming, streaming, and community engagement, he believes in the power of connection, mentorship, and giving back. His goal is simple: use the gaming community to create meaningful experiences, build lasting friendships, and remind every child that they are never alone.

When he’s not working with Gold Star Gamers, Max can usually be found building gaming PCs, creating content on his MADDMAX YouTube channel, or enjoying a good survival or horror game.

GTHEORY

Mike is an Army veteran and entrepreneur with a background in Civil Affairs, humanitarian support, and international operations. He streams primarily Gray Zone Warfare and other strategic and tactical games. Well, until Goat Simulator 3 calls him back to his true tactical calling: causing goat shaped chaos. He’s proud to support Gold Star Gamers and the families of the fallen.

SHARKTENT

Sharktent is a neurodivergent streamer who started as a way to unmask and be herself unfiltered. Just here to have a good time and build a fun community. She believes that the energy you put out into the world comes back to you. Her goal is to spread kindness and create a little bubble on the internet where people feel welcomed and included. When she’s not online, Shark enjoys cooking, archery and connecting with nature. Unless it’s cold, then she’s doing arts and crafts.

Sharktent is a Gold Star daughter herself and the wife of a veteran. Shark has been involved with Gold Star Gamers since 2024 because she believes Gold Star Gamers is “stopping kids like me from ever having to feel as alone as I did”. She recently joined the stream team at Gold Star gamers to help raise awareness and build up the community of Gold Stars behind Gold Star gamers.

IIZZYBXBE

Itzel, known as Izzy, is a passionate gamer, content creator, and proud volunteer with Gold Star Gamers. She believes gaming is about more than just winning matches. It’s about building connections, creating memories, and bringing people together. With a love for gaming and a personality that brings equal parts chaos, laughter, and cozy vibes, Izzy strives to create a welcoming space where everyone feels included.

Through Gold Star Gamers, Izzy has the opportunity to connect with children using gaming as a way to bring laughter, encouragement, and a little extra joy into their lives.

Izzy plays anything from competitive shooters like APEX Legends, Fortnite, and COD to world adventures like Minecraft and Red Dead Redemption 2. Izzy enjoys exploring different gaming worlds and challenging herself with new experiences.

RANGERRICH75

Evan J. Richards, better known as Ranger Rich, is a former member of the U.S. Army’s 75th Ranger Regiment, author, entrepreneur, and proud husband and father of twin boys.

A Buffalo, New York native, Rich has dedicated much of his life after military service to supporting fellow veterans through mentorship, advocacy, storytelling, and community building.

Whether he’s gaming on Twitch, helping other creators grow, or writing his next story, Rich believes that connection and camaraderie can make a difference in someone’s life.

As a member of the Gold Star Gamers stream team, his mission is simple: use gaming to bring people together, honor the sacrifices of our nation’s military families, and help ensure Gold Star children know they haven’t been forgotten.
